COOKIE POLICY
babyfm.rs website
Effective Date: August 18, 2026
This policy explains what this website stores in your browser and what it sends to whom. It forms part of our Privacy Policy and covers the website only — the Baby FM mobile application is described in Part A of the Privacy Policy.
Controller: BABY FM DOO, Veljka Dugoševića 54, 11000 Beograd, Serbia. PIB 112487122, MB 21685119. Contact: info@babyfm.rs.
THE SHORT VERSION
• Nothing is stored on your device for analytics or advertising until you press Accept.
• Accepting covers two purposes: analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising (Google Ads). Advertising is not running yet — section IV says exactly what that means.
• You can change your mind at any time — the Cookie settings button is in section VI below.
• Before you answer, nothing at all is sent to Google — Google Analytics is not even downloaded until you accept.
I. WHAT A COOKIE IS
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. “Local storage” is a similar mechanism that holds a value in the browser without sending it back to the server on every request. We use both, and both are covered here.
II. STRICTLY NECESSARY — ALWAYS ACTIVE
These are needed for the site to work or to respect your own choices. They are not used to track you.
• babyfm_consent — Local storage. Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so you are not asked again on every page. It contains only the word granted or denied — no identifier. It is set whichever way you answer, including when you decline. Duration: until you clear it, or press Cookie settings.
Our hosting also uses standard security and caching mechanisms, and WordPress sets a session cookie if someone logs in to the site’s administration — which ordinary visitors never do.
III. ANALYTICS — ONLY AFTER YOU PRESS ACCEPT
Provider: Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-D21R9PP1S7, by Google LLC and its affiliates. Purpose: counting visits and understanding which pages are useful.
• _ga — Cookie. Distinguishes one visitor’s browser from another. Duration: 2 years.
• _ga_D21R9PP1S7 — Cookie. Keeps session state for this Analytics property. Duration: 2 years.
Google Analytics also records ordinary page interactions, such as how far down a page you scrolled, in aggregate.
These cookies do not exist until you accept. Decline, and they are never created.
IV. ADVERTISING
Advertising is not running today. As of the effective date above, no advertising cookie is set on this site — we checked in a browser rather than assuming it. But we are preparing to advertise Baby FM through Google Ads, and pressing Accept already grants permission for it. We would rather tell you that now than quietly widen what Accept means later.
When advertising starts, Google may set cookies such as _gcl_au (Google Ads conversion measurement, 90 days) and cookies served from google.com and doubleclick.net for remarketing. They are set only if you accepted, and only from the moment advertising begins. This page will name them here before that happens.
What we do not do. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising beyond the Google advertising products described here. If that ever changes, we will ask you again rather than rely on a consent you gave for something narrower — see section VI.
V. WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE YOU CHOOSE
Nothing. Until you press Accept, this site makes no request to Google at all. Google Analytics is not merely held back from writing cookies — it is not downloaded, so no page address, no page title, no screen size, no browser details and no IP address leave your browser for it.
This was not always true, and we would rather say so. Until 18 August 2026 the site used Google’s standard setup, which loads Analytics on every page and lets it send “cookieless” signals while storage stays denied. No cookie was written — but every one of those signals still carried the page you were on, your screen size, your browser and your IP address to Google before you had agreed to anything. We measured it, decided it was not good enough, and removed it.
What it costs us. Visitors who decline, or who simply never answer, are not counted at all. We think that is the right way round.
VI. CHANGING OR WITHDRAWING YOUR CHOICE
Press the button below. Your stored choice is erased, all permissions return to denied, and the cookie notice reappears so you can choose again.
What withdrawing actually does: your stored choice is erased, every permission returns to denied, and the analytics cookies are deleted from your browser at the same moment — not merely ignored. If we ever widen what Accept covers, your old choice stops counting and the notice returns, so a narrower consent is never stretched to cover a wider purpose.
VII. CONTROLLING THIS IN YOUR BROWSER
You can block or delete cookies for this site at any time:
• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies → See all site data
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking all cookies and site data for babyfm.rs also blocks the analytics cookies. You can also install Google’s official Analytics opt-out add-on.
Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal we honour it automatically: the advertising permissions are forced off and stay off even if you press Accept. Analytics still follows your click. Once Google Ads is running, this is the control that keeps advertising cookies off your device even though you accepted.
VIII. TRANSLATION AND OTHER SITE TECHNOLOGY
The site is available in several languages through a translation plugin, which registers a service worker in your browser (a background script that helps pages load) and keeps two technical values in local storage (pgt_push_state, polyglot_plugin_toast_dismissed). These hold no personal data and are not used to track you.
IX. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Google may process analytics data outside Serbia and the European Economic Area, including in the United States, under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses and Google’s supplementary measures. Google states that it does not log or store individual IP addresses of visitors from the EU, Switzerland or the UK. Serbia is not in the EEA, so we do not claim that guarantee for visitors from Serbia. Google’s own description is at business.safety.google/privacy.
X. YOUR RIGHTS AND HOW TO COMPLAIN
You may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — GDPR Art. 15–21 and Art. 7(3); ZZPL čl. 15 and čl. 21–32. Write to info@babyfm.rs; we answer within 30 days.
Supervisory authority: Poverenik za informacije od javnog značaja i zaštitu podataka o ličnosti, Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 15, 11000 Beograd, office@poverenik.rs. If you are in the EU/EEA you may instead complain where you live.
XI. CHANGES
If we add a tool that stores anything new, this page is updated before it goes live and the effective date above changes with it.
LEGAL FRAMEWORK
This policy is written against the Serbian Zakon o zaštiti podataka o ličnosti (“Sl. glasnik RS” 87/2018) and the Zakon o elektronskim komunikacijama (“Sl. glasnik RS” 35/2023), and — for visitors in the European Economic Area — the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the ePrivacy Directive 2002/58/EC.
