Baby FM presented as alumni to Swiss Parliamentary Delegation at Science Technology Park Belgrade

October 7, 2026 by Stevan Antic

On 7 October 2026, Baby FM presented its wearable sensor and AI app to a delegation from Switzerland visiting Science Technology Park Belgrade (STP Belgrade). We were one of three startups invited to pitch to members of the Swiss Parliament, the Embassy of Switzerland in Serbia and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).

Who visited STP Belgrade

The delegation was led by Christian Imark, member of the Swiss Parliament and of the Switzerland-Serbia Parliamentary Friendship Group. He was joined by Roman Bürgi, member of the Swiss Parliament, H.E. Ivan Trifunović, Ambassador of Switzerland to Serbia, Miguel La Plante, Deputy Head of Mission, Philipp Beutler, Head of Cooperation, Bojan Stojanović, First Counsellor at the Embassy, and representatives of SECO. Their host was Prof. Dr Marija Milić, Director of STP Belgrade, with her team.

The visit began in the Park’s 3D and CNC laboratory and continued with a tour of companies and startups based at STP Belgrade. It closed with presentations on Swiss support for Serbia’s innovation ecosystem and a pitching session.

What Baby FM presented

Baby FM develops a wearable sensor and an AI app that continuously monitor the body temperature of babies and children in real time. We walked the delegation through the product and the team behind it, and passed the device around the room so the guests could hold it and look at it up close. After the pitches there was time to talk with the delegation directly.

Why Swiss support matters to us

Baby FM is an alumni startup of Raising Starts 1.0, the first generation of the programme. Raising Starts runs within the Technopark Serbia 3 – Innovate Forward project, which is supported by the Government of Switzerland and SECO. The partnership was summed up at the visit in three figures: three Technopark Serbia projects, more than CHF 12 million in Swiss support, and a decade of investment in Serbia’s innovation ecosystem.

For us, this was a chance to show the people behind that support what it helped build. You can read more about the company on our About Us page, and about our earlier appearance with STP Belgrade in Selena Nikolić Represents Baby FM at Startup Panel.

The other startups in the session

Two more startups from the Raising Starts programme pitched alongside us:

  • TriCell (Raising Starts 4.0) combines molecular biology, veterinary expertise and computational physics to help dairy producers understand genetic and phenotypic data and improve the productivity and sustainability of their production.
  • TapTap (Raising Starts 5.0) is building payment infrastructure for digital companies in markets with underdeveloped and fragmented financial services.

We thank Science Technology Park Belgrade for the invitation and the organisation, and the Swiss delegation for their attention and their questions.
