Baby FM took part in the Future500 Forum, held in partnership with the Bled Strategic Forum on 31 August 2026 in Bled, Slovenia. Our CEO, Tamara Papić, represented the company at an edition of the forum that put healthcare innovation at the centre of the programme.
What the Future500 Forum is
The Future500 initiative is building a platform for mapping Europe’s most promising scale-ups. It identifies the challenges those companies share, then connects them with solutions that can speed up innovation and open new markets across the continent. Baby FM has been part of the Future500 community since its early days.
Healthcare innovation took centre stage
A special focus of this year’s forum was healthcare innovation. That focus lines up directly with what Baby FM does, so the conversations in Bled were unusually close to our daily work: how health technology reaches families, and what has to change for it to reach them faster.
Health-tech policy, with Dr. Philipp Rösler
During the event, Tamara met Dr. Philipp Rösler, former Vice-Chancellor of Germany and a long-standing champion of European innovation leadership. Their conversation covered the future of health-tech entrepreneurship and the policies needed to support breakthrough innovation in the sector. For a company building medical technology in Europe, that policy layer is not background noise. It decides how quickly a product moves from a working prototype to something a parent can actually use.
Scaling without selling your soul, with Dr. Philipp Baaske
Tamara also connected with Dr. Philipp Baaske, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman of NanoTemper Technologies and author of The Honorable Entrepreneur: Become Successful Without Selling Your Soul. Dr. Baaske shared what he learned scaling an LMU spin-off into a €56M global biotech company that stayed entirely founder-owned, along with the seven principles he follows for building a business with integrity. Founder ownership through growth is a rare path, and hearing how it was done in practice is more useful than any theory about it.
What we took back from Bled
Events like the Future500 Forum matter to Baby FM for a simple reason: they put the people building health technology in the same room as the people shaping the rules it has to live by. We are proud to keep contributing to the Future500 community and to Europe’s innovation pathway.
