On April 2nd, Baby FM Co-founder and CEO, Tamara Papic, was a guest on the National Broadcasting Service, RTS 1, during the popular Morning Program. Appearing alongside Dušan Vasiljević from NALED, the discussion centered on the release of the new “Grey Book of Innovation”—a strategic document aimed at removing regulatory barriers for startups and tech companies in Serbia.

Advocating for MedTech and Biotech
During the interview, Tamara highlighted the specific challenges and opportunities within the medical technology sector. She emphasized the importance of simplifying clinical study procedures and creating unified databases to connect innovative companies with investors and regulatory bodies.

“Our country has a massive opportunity in biotechnology,” Tamara noted during the broadcast. “By structuring long-term financing and improving the legal framework for R&D, we can ensure that Serbian innovations like Baby FM reach the global market faster.”

Bridging Science and Business
The segment also touched upon the vital cooperation between traditional industries and high-tech startups. Tamara pointed out that while traditional investors often lean toward real estate, the real growth for society lies in investing in innovation and intellectual property.

Baby FM continues to lead by example, proving that Serbia is a fertile ground for “deep tech” hardware and software development. We are proud to be part of the dialogue shaping a more modern, innovation-driven economy.
